Although the origin of Roulette is unclear, the word roulette in French means small wheel. When researching the history, the roulette wheel has to be invention of Pascal, a 17th century mathematician. Other nationalities claim that it came from their culture. It is unclear where it really originated.

During the late 1700’s, Roulette became very popular when Price Charles of Monaco introduced Monaco of the exciting roulette wheel and other fascinating casino games. Around 1842, Louis Blanc invented the modern version and brought it to America.
