CrapsWhat is craps? Craps is played with two six-sided dice. When you play, the smallest amount your can roll is a two because each die has the lowest of 1 and the highest possible roll is a 12. Thirty-six possible combinations can be rolled. A player will select a set of dice and toss them across the table so that they hit the wall. If you roll a 7 or 11 you’ve rolled a natural and win. If you will a 2, 3, 12 on the first throw you have craps and lose. The dealer will then pick up your bet. The thrower will then continue to roll until he seven’s out. If you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 and you have a box point. You then need to keep rolling until you get the same number again. If you roll a seven before your number, you will then lose. The pay off for the roll varies on the bet. One roll bets are the simplest form of bet and is determined by the next roll. Any Craps is betting on the next roll to be a 2, 3, or 12; it pays 7 to1. Any Seven is rolling a seven and pays 4 to 1. Any eleven is self-explanatory and pays 15 to 1. Any two, three, or 12 pays between 15 to 1 or 30 to 1 are other examples. Those are the simplest bets when it comes to craps. It will only take a little bit to get the hang of the game and then you can place your bets like a pro. |
