What is Baccarat? It is a famous American casino game. The object of the game is players bet on either of two hands dealt on the table; which are the "player" or the "banker". The hand that comes closer to nine wins.

No matter how many players are at the table, only two hands are dealt. The two hands are always a player and the banker. In baccarat, you have to be the one that gets the closest to nine. Players make their bets before the cards are even dealt. You have three options, you could bet on the play, the bank, or a tie. The game is played with 6-8 complete stacks of cards.

The cards are then shuffled and put in the “shoe” box. A dealer will rotate the player’s turn counterclockwise around the table. The banker will be determined by going clockwise around the table. Even though the player is the banker, he or she is not obligated to bet on the banker. Four cards are dealt facedown by the house. The person who wagers the largest amount on the player gets first look at the player’s hand. The first person to get nine from two or three cards wins the game.
